a quiet season

my time in okinawa is coming to a close

Soaking in our final season in Okinawa before relocating to Osan AB, Korea next year.
currently paused, intentionally present
This chapter of life is about slowing down and preparing for our family's upcoming move later this year. I want to spend the rest of our time here being fully present, both at home and in my work. Because of this, I am not taking on regular session bookings at this time.

a small opening this summer...
newborn limited availability
I will still be offering a very limited number of newborn sessions this summer. These sessions are quiet, unhurried and laid back. They are the perfect mix of posed and lifestyle images that capture those first few weeks with your newest member.
If you're expecting and feel drawn to my work, please reach out for availability.

looking ahead
osan ab, korea: early 2027!
We are so excited to be heading to Korea after our assignment in Okinawa is finished! I will miss it here tremendously and all of the amazing families I've gotten to work with, but I'm also excited about our next overseas adventure.
I will fully reopen again once we have settled, and I know I will enjoy serving the military community there as I have in England and Okinawa.
I will also be available for travel since Korea is a short flight away from Okinawa! I would LOVE the chance to come back to this beautiful island for you.

nostalgic storytelling the old-fashioned way
hazel house film
During this slower season, I'm still here in Oki creating (when am I NOT doing something art-related?). Documenting life on film has been such a great way to expand my photography skills while also learning to slow down - it's all about embracing imperfection, softness and the beauty of what unfolds organically.
You can follow along my film journey on my Instagram account @hazelhousefilm. Most of my work there is also developed and scanned by me as well. I truly love the process of being with my images from start to finish.
